Ive gotten a few fee waivers from T20 schools. Today I go an email from G-town, a school that I am really interested in applying to. They "invited me to apply" but no fee waiver? All of the other schools waived the fee...and there is no hidden fee waiver from this particular school.
Did anyone else get an email like this? Is this more common than I think? My numbers are not that great, so maybe I just didn't earn it - just kind of expected it since everyone else waived their fee.
Should I ask for one?

Schools send out different types of e-mails. Some just say please apply to us and others waive the fee. Don't be surprised if you get both. For instance, Berkeley doesn't waive fees, but I'm pretty positive I got an invitation to apply.
You can definitely try e-mailing Georgetown to ask for one. Can't hurt.
