Job Prospects from Lower Ranked Schools
It seems that many on TLS believe that anything above T40 will lead to a dismal career and this assertion has some merit. While the job market is terrible right now, if all of these T3's and T4's are producing no jobs, then why haven't mass riots ensued on the campuses of these schools? Clearly, if the number of unemployed is that large year after year, after a while, some people would catch on...

for being essentially numbers based, this argument is tough to quantify. It probably breaks down to the point where the sector has contracted and ppl have found "other" jobs in the meantime to "hold them over" until it comes back(if ever). Some fall back on their bachelors, others simply stream tears into their pillows each and every night. this is the reality of law school prospects for lower scorers.

My apologies my word choice of "above" was misguided. I meant schools NOT in the T40. Semantic fail.whymeohgodno wrote:What?MrPapagiorgio wrote:It seems that many on TLS believe that anything above T40 will lead to a dismal career and this assertion has some merit. Just wondering. In your opinion what would be crappy (based on salary)?RVP11 wrote:A lot of these people are still getting jobs. Also to qualify those jobs are <50k with little upward mobility and do not qualify as public interest. A lot of people would love 50k public interest gigs that forgive their loans in 10 years.

crappy is less than 50K after attending three years of extra schooling that costs 150k or more. Also, people are catching on, read the many blogs, TLS posts, JDU posts, news articles, etc.MrPapagiorgio wrote:Just wondering.
