If a school recommends 1 LOR... Forum

If a school only recommends one LOR, should I just send one in or is sending two fine? I think both of my LORs will be about equal (both are from profs) so should I just go ahead and do one to keep the adcomms happy?

I'd stick to their recommendation. But double-check to make sure that one is the recommended number, and not just the required number.

I sent 3 even though 2 are usually recommended. I also sent an LSAC evaluation too. I don't think 2 academic ones are over the top (if they accept 2).
