Wise TLS members:
I am still waiting for a recommendation from a professor and probably won't be able to go compete until a couple weeks into November. Will this hurt my chances at getting into Harvard? Does missing the first batch of JR1 make it a lot harder to get in?

If your credentials are good enough to get in, a few extra weeks won't make a difference.
