Q: inputting dates on my profile on LSN
Hi,
This may be a dumb question and inappropriate to post here, but I can't search a relevant topic nor find Q&A on LSN. So, why not leverage the resourceful TLS to get my answer?
I've created a profile on LSN and have submitted my applications to most of my target schools. However, whenever I am inputting dates such as sent, received, completed, no matter which field I try to populate, only "Sent" field gets populated. For example, for School X, I have a sent-in date of 10/1/2010. When I try to update the "received" date with 10/5/2010, the sent date gets switched to 10/5/2010, and the receive date remains blank.
When I look at other peopel's profiles, they do have sent, received and completed fileds populated.
What's wrong with my profile?

click in the field, and type in the date in the same format as the other boxes already filled out. They have a javascript bug on their calender, it fills in the wrong boxes.

LSN should pay you as you have basically written "How to Use a Website in Spite of Its 1 Million Errors: r6_philly's Guide to LSN."r6_philly wrote:click in the field, and type in the date in the same format as the other boxes already filled out. Haha I am just glad I can be useful. When you get things for free you can't dictate quality control (I mean you can but you can't expect to receive it).bk187 wrote:LSN should pay you as you have basically written "How to Use a Website in Spite of Its 1 Million Errors: r6_philly's Guide to LSN."r6_philly wrote:click in the field, and type in the date in the same format as the other boxes already filled out. I was interested in developing a site with more features and more useful analytical tools, but I can't justify allocating resources to it since the product is free. Whoever owns it must have the same issue - it doesn't make enough money to justifying paying people to work on it.
Add: an email notification when you receive a comment/message would be super nice (and simple to code).

Oh god this will save me so much time. I've been deleting each one and recreating it every time I need to make an update.r6_philly wrote:click in the field, and type in the date in the same format as the other boxes already filled out. Really? That sounds frustrating. I also see people just leave it be.Bumi wrote:Oh god this will save me so much time. This is a big problem because it messes up the data integrity when people just end up leaving dates in the wrong box.
But ya, just type it in.
