Ordered a transcript without the LSAC attachment form
Can I send in the LSAC attachment form separately? I'm guessing not...just wondering what I should do now or if I should just eat the $7 transcript cost and order another one. Thanks.

Doesn't it say it has to be attached though? With the bar code and all?

Yes, but most transcripts have enough on them to identify you. If you call them and ask they will tell you not to worry about it that it should probably be fine. It might be delayed a couple of days though. If you are that concerned, just shell out another 7 bucks.bartleby wrote:Doesn't it say it has to be attached though? With the bar code and all?

Same thing happened to me and mine got processed no problem. It just might take a few extra days.

I did the same and called my transcript offices....depending on how fast they are, they might not have processed yet. I just faxed the extra sheet to them.
Though it sounds like it won't matter.

So should you have your school send it directly to LSAC or can you personally get the transcripts from your school and send them to LSAC yourself? (I ask because one my school has been great at misplacing files and not following through with requests I've made in the past)

Thanks all, I've only been using this site for prepping for the LSAT and have no idea what the process is re: applying. It was fun today to find out I had to shell out another $124 today for CAS.

They have to be sent by the school.JDeterminedF wrote:So should you have your school send it directly to LSAC or can you personally get the transcripts from your school and send them to LSAC yourself? Re: Ordered a transcript without the LSAC attachment form
I accidentally sent mine without the form and it processed fine. I waited a week or so for the report to turn up once the transcript was said to be "processing." When it didn't, I emailed LSAC asking if it was because of the form, but they told me it was because I hadn't paid the CAS fee. I paid and voila! Got my report

I called LSAC the other day about this issue (studied at Georgetown U for a year, but I live in New Jersey) and they said just get the school to process the transcript and send it in...it isnt required to have the front sheet, it just makes processing it much easier.
