Why X School Addendum Question

Post by bball85 » Wed Oct 13, 2010 12:39 pm

A few of the school's I'm applying to, (Fordham, Cardozo, Cornell, GW) don't have "why x school" optional statements in their applications. Since my personal statement isn't specific to any school, would it make sense for me to submit an addendum to these schools on why I'm specifically interested in their programs?

I've heard conflicting opinions on this (some saying it will hurt the applicant to submit something not included in the application and others saying I would be a fool not to submit this statement)

Any input would be appreciated.

How are your numbers for them? If they are fine, I wouldn't bother.

Also, do you actually have any compelling reason to want to go?
