Intent to matriculate?

There is a part on my law school report saying intent to matriculate XX school in XX year. I asked LSAC they told me it was because I paid deposit in a prior year and finally decided to withdraw. I'm curious how law schools will treat it during my current applications, do they usually ask for an explanation. BTW, that deposit thing happened a few year ago.
