Do adcomms really care about upward or downward trends in GPA?

It's mildly helpful to be going up.

Like so many other times in life, if it's pointing downward, that's bad.

Numbers will always be numbers. Upward, downward, it doesn't matter. They just want to see if that number fits into what they're willing to accept.

An upward trend is probably one of the last things they will consider if you are in the third pile.
