Should I report my ethnicity?
So I've started the long process of filling out applications and paying the $70-80 to submit them and I have one final question ... should I report my ethnicity? Every application says it's not necessary, but I get the feeling that if I don't report my ethnicity that will be viewed as a mark against me ... any thoughts?

It's not going to be used against you. However, if you're a qualifying under-represented minority you could miss out on an affirmative action boost by failing to identify yourself as such.

On some apps it's required, on others it's not. Personally, I leave the applications that do not require it blank - as being a white male gets no boost. There's enough honkies in law - i don't need to remind them that another one is trying to be.
