RD to ED Forum

I'm a little worried abt something. I first filed my app as an RD applicant but then decided to ED to my reach school. I sent in my contract but I just realized today that the reason my status checker doesn't say I'm an ED applicant (even though I snet in the contract literally 3 weeks ago) is b/c I said I was not one on the app. I emailed the admissions office today and I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue. Is it easy to resolve? Since my last letter of rec will reach the school by Friday (and thus make my app complete),I hope to have this issue resolved before then so it doesn't hold up my application. Does that seem possible/plausible?

OKay...well, here's a simpler question...is it possible to apply RD and then change your app to ED? I just wan't to make sure this school won't bar me from applying ED.
