'Application Under Review' at Chicago Forum

Does this actually mean under review? LSN says no decisions were made until Dec 1 last year. Is it just their way of saying 'okay you're complete, you'll hear in December'? Anybody else's status checker say this?

I have no clue, but it might be useful to stalk/comb through past Chicago Applicants threads and infer whatever you can from there.... (if you're like me and have lots of lots of time on your hands and you're dying of curiosity)

Been doing that but the first batch of applications seem not to have gone under review until the end of November, close to decisions, last year.

Hmm I don't know then. Don't get your hopes too much up though, they might've started reviewing around now last year too but just updated the status checkers super-late. and this year they've just decided to update the status checker more often. We can only guess, really

From the email sent to me today saying my application was complete:

Please note that we typically do not begin issuing decisions until late December. Therefore, even if your application goes under review early in the cycle, you likely will not receive a decision until December. Otherwise, it generally takes anywhere from 6-10 weeks from the date your file is complete for you to receive a decision depending on our application volume.

Bummer. I nearly had a stroke when I saw "under review" today. I was hoping they were early or something this year. Womp womp.
