double major or not?
Hi guys, first time posting here, but long time lurking.
I'm an undergrad student who still have 3 semesters left (including this 2010 fall, so expected graduation date is Dec. 2011). I'm currently majoring in psychology and economics because I liked them both initially. But considering that hard upper level econ classes and few more extra classes for me to take will make it more difficult to raise/keep my gpa, I'm starting to wonder if double major is even necessary after all (currently im pretty much done with all of my psyc classes).
I know it would be the best if i were able to get straight A's for rest of the classes with double major but it's just going to be way too difficult than just majoring in psyc. Plus, if i just major in psyc, I will be able to take more easy electives to boost my gpa. AND it will give me more time to study lsat.
So my question is, which one will be better? higher GPA with one major and slightly lower GPA with double major?
Does double majoring in undergrad have any effect on law school admission process?

To be a devil's advocate here, you better be damn sure you want to do law school.
If you end up reconsidering by the time you graduate, good luck getting a job with a psych degree. While it won't be easy with an econ one either, that will keep way more doors open than psych.

I agree. If you change your mind on law get ready to do a master's and possibly Psy.D. to get a job!2014 wrote:To be a devil's advocate here, you better be damn sure you want to do law school.
