Really, really want Columbia though...

What URM are you? if NA your chances at columbia go up significantly. Ed to Columbia and go from there, HYS is a ding.

If its your dream school you can so you are not wondering what if. You are very likely going to get dinged.

But thats your decision, apply to all schools you put and ED to columbia, hope for the best. You, by numbers, wont get accepted, but it definitely cant hurt you.
