Race Box on Application Check One? Forum

I am applying to a really kick ass school and when I got to the race section unlike most schools it says please check the most appropriate box. Highlight the singular nature of the word box. My background is just to complicated to check one box. My mother is Mexican and Honduran. My father is European. I identify with all of these groups. Thoughts?

If it only lets you check one, go with Mexican/Hispanic.

If you check the box corresponding to Mexican you get an application boost...and since you are legitimately at least part Mexican, you might as well do yourself the favor.

Agreed but my mom is from Honduras. Won't it look weird that I check Mexican but my app indicates my mother was born in Honduras?
