3.1 171 --- where to ED? Forum

+ 2 years work experience. Should I ED at Penn, Georgetown or somewhere else? I would like to work (stay) in New York after school. What about chances at Fordham?

3.2/171 got into ED at Penn last year.

I would try ED to UVa right now then if rejected ED to UPenn if that is possible.

I think you have a 50/50 chance of WL or straight In.

So better shot at Penn ED than Fordham? Though I'd like to stay in New York for school, too, I will go wherever gives me the best chance at getting back to New York after school. I've gotten that UVA advice once before, but does UVA place well in New York? Also, I really like Northwestern but don't know that they place as well in New York as these other schools.

Long story short, I should have a better shot at Penn than Gtown or Fordham?

If I were aiming NYC biglaw I would rather be at Penn, UVa, or NU than Fordham.

Take a look at the OCI threads for the schools and you can see people getting NYC offers from those schools.

If you want NYC, ED to UVa is the credited response here.

Chances at Penn are very slim.

PS: you really didn't need a second NU or Penn thread for this.

I would ED to Penn for NYC, over Georgetown and Fordham.
