Sorry in advance- not really sure which forum this should go into...
A general question- do those admitted to a Top 3 (HYS) usually get into the others or one other and have a choice, or is it more of an admit and 2 waitlists? I think anyone would be grateful to get into any of these, but I am just wondering what the norm is.
Thanks for the help

Re: HYS Admissions
It realy depends in he applicant. if you get into yale you likely go stanford and harvard too. not the other way around though. S and H seem to have a decent amount of cross admits.sergeantpzr wrote:Sorry in advance- not really sure which forum this should go into...

Re: HYS Admissions
The simple numbers between the 3 schools make it clear that it wont be very common to be admitted to all 3. Yale accepted 270 last year, Stanford probably accepted a little bit more(say ~300-350) and Harvard admitted 833. So at most 270 of at least 833 HYS acceptees could be accepted to all 3. The actual number is far lower.sergeantpzr wrote:Sorry in advance- not really sure which forum this should go into...
