Ouch...

Post by fragged » Wed Sep 01, 2010 8:11 pm

The reality just set in today - With the click of a few buttons, I dropped over $150 to submit two applications.

This could get expensive...

Maybe I should invest that money in a metal detector and look for gold in my backyard. Wait, I don't have a backyard.

It's pretty easy to drop way more than $150 with a few button clicks.

Yea it sucks. I spent close to $300 on applications last year to Maryland, Penn State, UMiami, FSU, American and some other schools, only to decide that I wanted to study in DC. Ha! So, one word of advice from me, dont apply to schools that you have no interest in attending and please, please, please, dont apply to a school just because its "ranked" higher than another school unless you actually want to go to that school. Unless you're applying to a top 14, dont bother applying to schools based on rank. Going to #28 Wisconsin over #38 Wake Forest doesnt mean sh*t.

Good luck!

Why not open your own law school & collect the fees for yourself. If you want instant success, call it "X Law School".

Why not ask them to waive the fees?
