With a 157/3.25 Santa Clara going to happen?
Is Santa Clara going to happen? I am retaking in Oct. b/c average practice score is between 163-170.. I want to go to Hastings or Davis, because it is a lot cheaper. But I would be very happy with Santa Clara and I do not have the numbers for Hastings.
They place very well in Palo Alto and SF. I want to do IP law.
I have very good LORs and I am under the impression that if I write a good PS I will get in is this true? Its a consider of the predictor....
P.S. I have looked at LSN and I do not think it is very representative. Are there any SCU applicants out there that were accepted and what were your #'s?

If you can get anywhere within that average score range I would say that you're golden for Santa Clara, and if you hit the higher side of that spread you have a good chance at Hastings or Davis. With your current score though I don't see Santa Clara happening, because your numbers aren't borderline they're low. If you were closer to the GPA and LSAT medians then a good PS and LORs could tip the scale, but right now you are at below average GPA and 25th percentile LSAT. That being said I'm not super familiar with Santa Clara, but I've never heard anyone separate their practices from the practices of law schools in general.
