There's a quote from an admissions dean (UCLA maybe?) in Montauk's book that says he's always impressed by LOR's from current students of his law school.
Has anyone tried this? A dumb idea?
I've got a friend from UG at one of my top choices, and after reading the quote started thinking of asking him to write my third/fourth letter.

A LOR from someone who is only a friend seems like an awful idea.
