Q about LSAC Ac. Sum. - only displaying 124 credit hours

Post by sgtgrumbles » Wed Aug 25, 2010 11:05 am

My LSAC Academic Summary is only displaying 124 "Total Semester Hours." Technically, this is correct, because I only took 124 credits at undergraduate institutions, but I was credited for 128 total because of a 5 on the Psychology AP exam that was converted to a 4-credit Psych class. Is this nothing to worry about? Or does my LSAC Academic Summary make it seem like I didn't complete the full 128 credits necessary for a degree? The first of two undergrad institutions I attended was the one that converted the AP exam to credits, but the transcript info on my LSAC Academic Summary doesn't reflect that.

Admissions committees probably know nothing about the course requirements of your undergrad degree. If your report shows that you earend a degree, then that is all that matters.
