Law School Application Evaluations
I was about to send my LOR forms to my recommendors and couldn't help but notice that LSAT added an evaluation thing. I am not planning on participating but, when I called LSAC, they said that some schools may require it.
Anyone have a rundown on what schools require it? Schools that strongly prefer that you participate?
Thanks.

Re: Law School Application Evaluations
While I do not anticipate this happening, it would be annoying for anyone of the schools I am applying to have the evaluation thing required (especially since many of their applications are not even available yet to check).
Harvard = ?
Columbia = None accepted
Chicago = None required
NYU = ?
Penn = None required
Michigan = ?
Cornell = ?
BU = None required
Also, if they are not required, I am going to pass on making my writers of my letters of recommendation do an evaluation.

Re: Law School Application Evaluations
So I read on another page that Cornell requires two of the Evaluations. I looked at the questions and it seems like the kind of thing you could just send to any professor who's class you got an A in. I was kinda planning on seeing if my Dissertation advisor (I think some schools call this an Honors Thesis) would do it. He and I had next to no interaction but I did very well on my dissertation. Any thoughts on this?

I sent two to Cornell, but they're only recommended and not required. I think.

did you just have the same people for your LOR's do your evaluations or did you get new people?

Same people. I tried to be really low pressure about the evaluations, since I had been such a pain in the ass about my letters. I'm pretty close to all my recommenders, so it really wasn't too big a deal for me.
