Resigning Classes in UG

Post by rklafehn » Fri Aug 06, 2010 8:55 pm

How does resigning a class look on a transcript? Does it affect my GPA? Does it affect my t14 chances with or without a possible retake?

A resign at my school was dropping a class after two weeks into the semester and a month and a half before the semester ended. I have two on my transcript. Both classes I resigned before the first test because I didn't want to take them the rest of the semester but it was after the first two weeks so they still show up on my transcript.

Would an addendum be necessary?

Nope.. same thing as a Withdraw (passing) meaning it won't affect your LSAC GPA at all...

Most people say if you do it too many times it might be bad, but two times isn't a big concern at all.

Thank you. That is what I thought. Simply wanted to clarify with TLS.
