Addendum needed?

Post by a11 1n » Wed Aug 04, 2010 10:33 pm

When I was 17 a few friends of mine and I were found in the forest preserve in our town by an officer and ticketed for trespassing. We had to go to court and pay a fine of like $50 or something silly along those lines. Does this mean I should answer yes to questions such as "Have you ever been detained, arrested, summoned into court, cited, indicted, or convicted in any criminal, military, or juvenile proceeding" and include an addendum?

It depends on what the specific application asks, but the most common answer will be "no."

Dude just disclose it, your type of situation will have no bearing whatsoever on your acceptance to schools.
