Early Decision
From what I understand, it is always good to get applications in as early as possible.
However, I wanted to ask about a few schools to see if anyone has experience with early decisions with them...
I'm looking to apply to:
Pepperdine
Santa Clara
UCONN
U of Miami
San Diego
Florida
U of Maryland
URichmond
Wake Forest

Re: Early Decision
I haven't taken the LSAT yet. Only a few diagnostics from distant past to December 2009. Average score is 158. I'm taking PowerScore full course starting next week.lawschool2014 wrote:Whats your LSAT and GPA?
My GPA will be 3.15 when I apply.

Hold off on this question/discussion until you have an actual, legit LSAT score in front of you.nickbentley wrote:I haven't taken the LSAT yet. Re: Early Decision
Do you mean do the schools process applications early in the cycle or do they have an official early decision program?nickbentley wrote:Right now i'm just really trying to find out if any of those schools specifically admit most of their students early..

Re: Early Decision
No school specifically admits most of their students ED. But really it's all a moot point until you get a real life LSAT. Check out --LinkRemoved-- if you're interested in learning which schools have EA/ED programs.nickbentley wrote:Right now i'm just really trying to find out if any of those schools specifically admit most of their students early..

Re: Early Decision
when i visited UF they said to have your application in as EARLY as possible (esp for people like me, and possibly you, who would be considered a splitter at UF because we have low GPAs)

Unless you really outperform your practice tests, Pepperdine, Wake, and Maryland will probably ding you on GPA alone.

ehh. I'm expecting (and hoping for) a WL--> IN from Wake and I have the same GPA (163 LSAT).

Re: Early Decision
Perhaps its worth a shot. However your LSAT looks like it hit last years median. If the OP is well below the 25th percentile for both GPA and LSAT hes likely to hit the wall. I know Pepperdine in particular values a higher GPA so OP would really have to be above the 75th in LSAT to have a shot.Barbie wrote:1ferret! wrote:Unless you really outperform your practice tests, Pepperdine, Wake, and Maryland will probably ding you on GPA alone.
