10$ an hour is top of the line in Bala Cynwyd, lol.

But seriously, what reputable firm would recruit through craigslist? Craigslist job ads are the lulz. Obviously you're not going to see an advertisement for a 60k/yr + benefits on there, because real jobs aren't found on craigslist.

I just don't understand how someone with knowledge of the law could be willing to accept $10/hour. I would rather be unemployed than receive such a soul-shattering salary.

The sad truth is that this guy will probably receive hundreds of resumes within days of this being posted. When you are up to your eyeballs in loans and have no other options, you start to jump at these types of "opportunities".
