on this note, does anyone else find a lot of the superior schools, in terms of rankings, are better with fee waivers than lower ranked schools?
schools my #'s are well above the 75th percentile for said no, and schools in the t-20 said yes....

Lower ranked schools do not always have the financial wherewithal to extend fee waivers to candidates. Many times they use the app fees to support scholarship offers to entice candidates to attend their school over a higher ranked alternative.justadude55 wrote:on this note, does anyone else find a lot of the superior schools, in terms of rankings, are better with fee waivers than lower ranked schools?

also higher ranked schools do this to make their yield percentage look sexier. aka makes them seem more exclusive.Tiva wrote:Lower ranked schools do not always have the financial wherewithal to extend fee waivers to candidates. Re: Available Apps on LSAC
but this does turn away some potential students who would bring up their 75th percentiles. i was considering maybe going to new orleans to use my law degree to help the community, but i backed away from them as a safety school when a school like miami was much more receptive, and frankly, nice.

didn't want to make a subject just for this dumb question:
but is there a way to preview your app on a mac?
when i click preview, it just downloads an aspx file that is unreadable on preview and i-photo.

You have to load it in Safari.
Why does that seem like a dirty sentence?

Fordham is even better
Provide optional letters of recommendation. Fordham Law School does not require applicants to submit letters of recommendation. If you feel more comfortable submitting letters, please do so through the LSAC Letter of Recommendation Service that serves all member schools and is included as part of the LSDAS Registration subscription. Your letters will be photocopied and sent to us with your LSDAS Report.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
