hey all,

i have a basic questions here

i am just wondering how a leave of absence affects (if at all) an applicant's chances of admission, to be clear/specific, i am wondering about like a short one (one ~4 month academic term) and which has NO affect on the GPA

Shouldn't have any, as long as you weren't in prison or what have you. Maybe a quick addendum (I think most schools ask for an explanation of any disruption).

I'm sure your reasons are nothing scandalous, so you'll be in the same exact boat as someone who hadn't left for a semester.
