should two LORS emphasize different aspects of you?

Post by sangr » Sun Jul 25, 2010 9:11 am

ok so if you send out two LORS (from one person)

is it better that the letters emphasize different aspects or themes, or is it fine if they both have similar messages.

Also, i asked this before but didnt get too many serious responsese

if my prof asks me a page letter bout why i wanna go to Law School (for my LOR) could you guys just list some things that are relevant towards what she could use to write for her LOR:?

thanks

It doesn't matter, both ways are fine.

If possible, give your prof a copy of your PS along with a resume so she knows what to highlight and just explain to her a little bit about why you're apping.

However, LOR won't make a huge impact on your app in general.
