Do adcomms consider an applicant's state residency/geographical location when deciding to admit/waitlist/deny?
I have searched the forums but could not find anything, so I apologize now if this question has already been answered.

Some schools do (UNC comes to mind)... are there specific schools you are referring to?

I've read that law schools strive for "geographical diversity," but I'm not actually sure how much of a consideration it is for adcomms.
