Does LSAC take into account community college?

Post by testmachine45 » Fri Jul 23, 2010 2:06 am

Over the summer, I took courses at a community college.

The courses were transferred as credit/no credit at my degree-granting institution.

However, on the community college transcript, there will be a grade.

Does LSAC count the community college grades even though its c/nc on my degree granting transcript?

This seems a little unfair because I didn't try very hard in the community college and got B- or C+ cause I knew it was for credit. Please help!

Yes, those grades count toward your LSAC GPA, and thus must be sent in.

If this seems unfair, this world is going to get very real pretty quickly.

Yes, every letter grade you've earned will count.

Why are you blaming LSAC? I don't see how you were wronged here. Nor do I see why those courses wouldn't count towards your overall GPA. Perhaps this is a valuable lesson.

OP: you should just keep starting new threads that ask the same question until you get the answer you want.
