upward trend...?

Post by saraK » Wed Jul 21, 2010 10:12 pm

I have a somewhat upward trend in my GPA. I had a rough freshman year with a 3.0 and have since then steadily held around a 3.4/3.5 (still not great, I know) until the past semester which I dropped back down to a 3.15. This happened because I suddenly for personal reasons had to take on a lot more financial responsibility and greatly increased my hours at work. I was wondering if this was a substantial enough drop to write an addendum. I'm not working this upcoming fall semester and plan on getting a 4.0 (but really this time) and don't know if that would counteract my somewhat lower GPA from the spring semester. I'm just unsure when it's appropriate to send an addendum so if someone could give me a sort of guideline or some advice that'd be great!

Not unless you have a damn good reason, and even then, probably not. It's not as if you went from a 3.5 to a 1.2.
