Hows 1L Living With a S.O.
Thinking of moving in with my girlfriend my 1st year of law school. I'm definitely considering marriage with this one, but not during my 1L year.
Its a ways off, but... any advice?

I killed relationships, using law school as an excuse.libertarian wrote:Law school kills relationships.Fred_McGriff wrote:Thinking of moving in with my girlfriend my 1st year of law school. I'm definitely considering marriage with this one, but not during my 1L year.

Not always. But most probably, unless your SO is also in LS.libertarian wrote:Law school kills relationships.Fred_McGriff wrote:Thinking of moving in with my girlfriend my 1st year of law school. I'm definitely considering marriage with this one, but not during my 1L year.

I'm very encouraged by your relationship. I think moving in would be a great idea.Fred_McGriff wrote:Thinking of moving in with my girlfriend my 1st year of law school. I'm definitely considering marriage with this one, but not during my 1L year.

This. I would be doing the same thing right now (moving in) if my family wasn't super traditional. I think it would really help temper the stress caused by 1L.Rocketman11 wrote:I'm very encouraged by your relationship. Living with your SO =\= Living with your SO and a roommate. DANGER WILL ROBINSON
Especially with Rocket. As long as your SO is not a wildabeast, you will lose her to your roommate.

You should live with your S.O. and probably another girl, to increase chances for MFF.

You're welcome- I have heard about your IRL charm. Don't think (especially with the OP having to ignore his SO for the long hours studying) that she won't find the warm shoulder of the roommate to cry on, and then more. You live with Rocket = goodbye SO.Rocketman11 wrote:you flatter me so much. <3 you babyJessicaTiger wrote:THISparatactical wrote:Whoa, whoa whoa.Fred_McGriff wrote:

There's a chance i'd like the OP though. If we mixed the right combination of him being cool and his gf being average/below average looking, it could work.

Re: Hows 1L Living With a S.O.
I'll be living with my S.O., but we've already spent a year living together. It's been really great, but there was definitely some adjusting involved at first. I would be wary about moving in with someone for the first time as you start 1L, because you'll have enough on your mind/plate anyhow. Just my two cents.

It looks like it... but I kicked ass in the big leagues, the only one I'm worried about is losing her to Tom Emanski...
IRL there won't be any roomates, two of us, her working, me studying.
