How to convert GPA??

Post by PierceFromCT » Wed Jul 07, 2010 6:46 pm

So I'm looking at the Law School Numbers site and seeing people with 4.2s and shit, and my school didn't have that. I got a few A+ but they always counted for just 4.0. How do law schools convert your GPA? And do they even look at the LSAC school reports? Is it worth bringing attention to the fact that my school had a strict no-inflation policy with the grades being much much lower on average?

Don't forget to include any community college classes and if you repeated a class to enter both grades.

Your GPA is counted as A+ = 4.33, A = 4.00, A- = 3.67, etc. regardless of how your UG treats them. You also need to count all other grades from community college, summer sessions, study abroad, and college classes taken during high school.
