I know that its all a numbers game, but I am wondering when the quality of a UG and WE come into play.
I graduated from one of the better NESCAC schools (Midd) and I have a few years of experience as a paralegal (read: LOR from a partner at a huge law firm in NYC) and some doing research at a very well respected company in the industry. I got a 169 and have a 3.45 which puts me at a consider/weak consider at the bottom of the T14.
Do you think my WE and UG push me over the edge? would they put me at an advantage over someone without these softs in this situation? I can't afford to shell out a bunch of cash for apps.

You can send out a bunch of fee waiver requests.

I think you have a pretty decent shot at Cornell off the waitlist, but are probably out at the rest of the t14. Definitely make sure to get all your apps in early as for borderline candidates applying late can really hurt you.
