Columbia or NY ED? Which one do I have a better chance at?

Post by PierceFromCT » Mon Jun 28, 2010 12:57 pm

Do I have a chance at either NYU or Columbia ED?

170 LSAT
3.26 at Johns Hopkins... graduated with Departmental Honors in one of my majors.
3 years work experience in top 4 talent agency, with desire to pursue Entertainment Law.
Great LoR
Heavy volunteer work.

Is there one school that I have a better chance at getting into ED? I know both are reach schools. Also, is it worth retaking the LSAT? I didnt' finish two sections, so would have otherwise gotten a 178 ughhh.

Neither. If you want entertainment law, try ED to UCLA. You still won't have a great shot, though. A retake would be a good idea, especially if you feel like you could've done better.

NYU has lower numbers than Columbia.
