Do these schools Average or Take the Highest LSAT Score?

Post by rwe23 » Mon Jun 28, 2010 12:01 pm

Columbia
NYU
Fordham
Cornell
Cardozo

Any information on any of these schools with how they look at retaking the LSAT. I know I want to practice in New York and study in New York, which is why this is the list of schools I am looking at.

Thanks

rad law is right... you're going to have to track that info down on your own, I think. I will say that most schools will only count the highest score, as there is no strong incentive to average (since the 25th/75th percentiles are calculated based on the school's decision to average or not).

FWIW, I think the only school that I came across during my applications that averaged their scores was UWashington (including Cornell).

Thank you. Question answered now. New to the site and didn't know that existed. I appreciate it.

You're welcome, most schools say they look at the high scores. Although they also include the statement that they do see all other scores and if there is a big difference 5+ you should write an addendum.
