Miami Tax Law
I am thinking about which law schools to apply to for tax law, and i have heard very good things about the program at Miami. Is what I heard true, i am currently a student in NYC and am curious how the job market in NYC would look upon a degree from Miami? If not Miami which schools should i look at?

Re: Miami Tax Law
according to TLS profile of UMiami, "Miami does have a stellar tax law program which has been ranked 5th in the country."

This is such a narrow area....you'd have to ask current professionals
Additionally, why not just get into nyu and call it a day?

Specialty rankings do not correlate with employment opportunities.curiouslaw wrote:I am thinking about which law schools to apply to for tax law, and i have heard very good things about the program at Miami. Miami doesn't travel outside of South Florida. No one will care about your tax education, at least not enough to make going to Miami for NYC worth it.

This is a convenient time to remind the TLS community to stay the fuck away from UM absent a full scholarship or crazy connections.
