How long until post-LSAT spam goes away? Forum

This question is primarily for the TLS vets - how long does it usually take until the forum returns to normal and the thousands of
"I got a 3.45 gpa and 164 lsat, can I get harvard???"
and
"omg i got a bad score do i kill myself?"
go away?

The forum has kinda sucked the past couple days

Give it a week or two, then it goes away until August/Sept.... stick to the lounge and non-lsat related forums if you dont wanna see it.

I usually just go on the front page which brings up the latest topics. It excludes lounge topics though =\

just pop around different forums, it's more interesting that way because you may find posts you werent aware of before.

I thought this was going to be about McGeorge School of Law, etc. emails that you get after taking the LSAT.

As for your question: those threads never go away. You're right that it's especially bad in the wake of an LSAT administration, but people discover TLS for the first time and ask stupid questions/neglect the search feature every day of the year.

Hence why people like us lurk in the lounge mostly.... if a noob ends up there they get sufficiently blasted into tears if we do our job right.

It dies down after a couple of weeks or so. People eventually realizes none of the advice they get is any better than what they themselves could get from LSP or LSN

Not even going to click the link, going to assume its me. I'm not even complaining, just asking how long until it goes away - plus not blasting the individual posters, we all start out new to the forum and don't read/search anything... but it's the collective action that gets a little unbearable.

Was going to point out the same thing.

Its the lay of the land my friend. The board heats up significantly during certain times with certain topics. The whole law school thing is pretty cyclical.
