Dean's Certification Form

Post by sharpnsmooth » Sat Jun 12, 2010 12:39 pm

Does every law school require this? I don't see it on the physical app's themselves. Do you only need a dean's certification if you had disciplinary action or does every applicant need one? If so, I regret not being more respectful to my dean.

Only school I know that required one last year without disciplinary action was Stanford. Not too many schools do it anymore. With disciplinary action it becomes required by a decent amount more though.

Most schools require one (or a certified transcript) after acceptance, it seems.

Not authoritative - check with schools before applying - but a damn good clearinghouse of application information.
This is very useful. Just bookmarked it. Thanks, nightrunner.

It seems like schools that don't require it with the application still require it if you choose to attend.

SMU and Wake both require one before the start of classes.

A couple others do, too.
