Re: when do law schools release their applications
My recollection is that they start becoming available on the LSDAS website in early September, but the applications are available on a rolling basis. Some schools release their applications before other schools.

Re: when do law schools release their applications
Is there somewhere you can go to see past applications to start preparing for the various sections? For example, is there somewhere I can go to get a law school's school-specific LOR form, resume requirements, etc?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Schools don't have a specific LOR form, except for one, I believe. They prefer the LSDAS service.

+1 -- does anyone know of anywhere (or school site) where you can see past applications to get a feel for what they look like?LawCurious wrote:Is there somewhere you can go to see past applications to start preparing for the various sections? And I believe that a lot of schools post their application in August (or at least that seems to be my recollection from last year...maybe those were the exceptions)

Re: when do law schools release their applications
I think several schools still have last cycle's up on their websites. I know I've looked at one or two - try Mich and GULC? I think those were the ones. Usually there's an area for JD Applications, and you can open one up.
Edit: my work computer doesn't open PDFs, but I think this is Michigan's:

Edit 2: NYU's is still up (again, I think - PDFs just open as a blank window for me

Just look through the schools you're thinking of and usually you can find the PDF version.

thanks for posting that. WOW, michigan had eight (8) optional essays?! How many do they expect you to do? Better yet, how many does the average person do???eskimo wrote:I think several schools still have last cycle's up on their websites. I know I've looked at one or two - try Mich and GULC?
