I think it depends on the schools you're applying to. From what I've seen, at most schools your application doesn't go "Complete" until your re-take score is reported. Hence, your application won't go into review until your score is released anyway. So...if you want to get your applications out of the way right away (which is what I would personally do--one less thing to worry about) then go for it. However, (assuming that you don't wait until scores are released to get your apps going) the order in which you retake/apply won't really have an effect on how quickly your application is reviewed.
