Is there any advantage or disadvantage of applying to the College of Law (Law School) associated with the school where you got your undergrad degree?
For Example, If i got my undergrad degree in Finance from the University of Florida and I apply to the University of Florida College of Law will that help me in any way, hurt me or is it a non issue?
Thanks

Mainly a non issue. For the most part it isn't going to hurt you. There is a small chance it may help you, but that is not likely.

It doesn't matter enough to consider, except that the Ivies seem to look out for their own a little.
There's really no boost because often the UG has the highest number of matriculants at the LS. Only matters if the LS has an in-state quota and you fill it.

It won't do much, but I think it could help you out a little if, say, they are trying to choose between you and someone with the same numbers who went to a lower-ranked state school (e.g. University of Central Florida or University of South Florida). UF believes its undergrad is more difficult than UCF or USF, so they would probably give you a little break on GPA.
