applying fall 2010 but
my LORs are from last year October/November 2009. i planned on taking the December 2009 LSAT but postponed to June 2010. is it okay to use the LORs from last year or should i ask my professors to have them send it again?
TIA

I don't have first-hand experience with that particular situation; however, I've heard of people getting LORs from professors, uploading them to LSAC, and letting them sit for a couple years as they go off and work or do whatever before applying. You should be just fine using the 2009 letters.

You will be fine. I planned on applying Fall 08 and all my LORs were from that time period. I re-took the LSAT and applied in Fall 09 with the one year old LORs and it was not a problem.

I did this before. My recs were from fall 08, and I submitted them a year later. It didn't make any difference since I have been admitted to many fine schools regardless of my "old" recs. I believe they expire after 5 years.

The LSAT score expires after 5 years, but I don't think the LOR's ever do. I still have my LOR's from back in '99 sitting in my LSAC file. The LOR's I used this cycle were from 2008.doinmybest wrote:I did this before. My recs were from fall 08, and I submitted them a year later.
