Hey guys I just received the letter of being reserved at Columbia (which came as a huge surprise in a good way!) and I got a few questions:
does anyone know on average bout how many students get admitted after being on the reserve?
What are some things I could possibly do to stand out? (seeing my semester grades aren't going to be the best)
Also I have received mails from student organizations from Columbia before I am wondering if I should respond and ask them for advices?
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Re: Reserve at Columbia
Keep them updated on major awards, new employment (if it's law-related or prestigious), spring grades (even if they were bad, since they'll assume they're bad if you don't send them, and you need to send final grades to wherever you enroll anyway), etc.
But, to be brutally honest, Columbia admits very, very few people from the Reserve lists, and if your GPA went down significantly in spring semester, you are highly unlikely to get in.
