USC v WASH U
I want to come back to nm to practice, but I would also like to do a judicial clerckship first. I will probably not be looking at big law, why money and an LRAP are important to me. What do you all think?

Might I ask which law you plan on practicing (and/or what career you are looking at)? Knowing that may narrow down a better answer.

I am thinking of doing a clerkship first and then something in government or public interest but probably not big law or even a medium sized firm.

If you plan on residing in NM, I would suggest USC (#18). After all, ranking is important when first seeking employment (especially in competitive government positions), and $25k is still a lot of money. USC offers excellent alumni connections, and internship opportunities in the SW. But then again, WASH U is offering you $35k, so if money is key, its a natural choice.
