Withdrawal and Enrollment

Post by jdcballer » Mon Apr 19, 2010 2:33 pm

If a school's enrollment policy says that you are certifying you have "withdrawn from all other law schools to which you have been admitted" does that mean it is okay to stay on the waitlist for other schools? The language certainly allows it, but is it assumed that signing the statement is supposed to preclude you from attending any other law school?

I'm pretty sure NYU only expects you to withdraw from schools that have accepted you, not those that placed you on a waitlist or have yet to decide. Certainly that's what their language suggests.

This is NYU right?

I was thinking Duke, but I'm sure the same reasoning would apply.
