Whichi is more important...?
How truly important is the LSAT score compared to the GPA? To further refine my question how much does an amazing LSAT score trump a sub-par GPA?

It trumps it significantly, but a lot of damage is done by the poor GPA.
But I'm a 2.8/176 going to Northwestern next year, so recover is possible.
What is your GPA?

Well you need to get above a 170 to have a shot with 20-50 ranked schools.b2582 wrote:i'm sitting at about a 2.85
Northwestern might take you with a 172 if you have work experience. Maybe with a 171 if you apply early decision.
Georgetown part time is probably an option if you hit 170+.

and if you are a couple years out of undergrad with meaningful work experience, you can probably pull a couple points of the lowest LSAT number.
