Please people. I would like to know the organizational structure of NYU's school as well as other law schools.

I have not applied or been rejected from NYU.

Even if you do not know the name - - can the NYU Dean make decisions for NYU Law School?

Can? Possibly, though there may be all sorts of university bylaws we know nothing about. Even if he can: Would? Doubtful. Stepping on toes in the professional world is a pretty dick move, and I have a hard time imagining a realistic scenario in which the President of NYU would step in to overrule the dean of the law school. What kind of decision are you talking about? Admissions?

Interestingly, NYU's president is their former law school dean. He was so awesome, they asked him to run the whole university.

I have a proposition for the Dean's supervisor. It is about donations to his school from my business that I created. If he is open to contributions, I would set it up, otherwise I will approach Colubmbia. These contributions are aimed at strengthening the law school so that it and its students can provide more value for themselves and to society. I talked to a lawyer about this yesterday and just need to line up time on his calendar to discuss.

I live in NY and it is convenient to work with either NY or Columbia as I think they are great schools, but NYU is more convenient for me.

People with enough money to bribe their way into law school have no need for a law degree. You can just hire some NYU grad who is both smarter and harder working than you are for about 15 bucks an hour. HTH

I don't recall reading anything about bribes or acceptances. But ok.

A noble goal, to be sure. Good luck with this project and don't forget to let us know how it pans out for you!

Have you contacted Dean Revesz's office? I'm almost sure he deals with donations, but if not he could at least put you in contact with the right person

If you want to give money, you should speak to the law school's Office of Development http://www.law.nyu.edu/alumni/keycontacts/index.htm
However, to answer your question, John Sexton is the current president of New York University. http://www.nyu.edu/about/leadership-uni ... ation.html

You could just skip the middleman and send a check to me. Just enough to cover tuition and fees would be spiffy. It'll strengthen the heck out of me, and I promise to be a force for good in society

Mr. Welters

Look him up...he is the chair of trustees.
Apparently, he is an extremely influential in the political world.
