UChicago Scholarship Question
Does anyone know if the scholarship from UChicago is merit based or determined at all by need? The letter does not specify and I just realized that my mom did not include my stepdads income on the need access form. I am not worried about loan eligibility, only the scholarship amount. Does anyone know? Obviously I need to call the school, but they are closed for the night and I am freaking out a little bit. Thanks.

Why are they closed? It isn't even 5pm yet.
It is probably merit-based.

this may not help you at all, but: I know they have strictly merit based scholarships (I didnt give them any financial info), i guess they also have needs based scholarships

Wow, that's lazy of them.0L Hoping for 1 wrote:They close at 3
If your scholarship is some even number (like $50,000 instead of $67,256) it is almost surely merit-based. If it's some completely random number, the opposite is almost surely true.

Awesome, it is a round number so that logic will keep me sane until tomorrow!remotelyfeasible wrote:Wow, that's lazy of them.0L Hoping for 1 wrote:They close at 3
